Mobile's authentic German bar, LoDa Bier Garten gets its name from LoDa, or Lower Dauphin, Mobile's downtown entertainment district. Boasting "the largest draft beer selection in the Southeast," they offer 102 beers on tap and over 100 bottled beer selections. A LoDa hamburger with made fresh with meat from a local market and the deep fried pickled cauliflower (you read that right!) will be something to tell your friends about.

Mobile Museum of Art has evolved into the only accredited art museum in South Alabama, with a collection of over 6,400 artworks comprised of paintings, sculpture, decorative arts, works on paper, and crafts. Its original facility of 14,000 sq. feet, located in the city’s largest green space of Langan Park, was expanded with two major capital campaigns. The last expansion of the Museum brought the space to its current size of 95,000 sq. feet. Today, the art museum continues to evolve in its service to the community, achieved through its programs, education, exhibitions, and outreach. The museum’s outreach activities include on-site classes, a partnership with the Salvation Army’s Family Haven, as well as a “Pop-Up Museum” installation in downtown Mobile. The Art Museum maintains a schedule of rotating, special exhibitions as well as collection exhibitions, including work by regional artists, as well as exhibitions featuring work by nationally and internationally recognized artists.
